Inflacija diploma

Znanje je ono po čemu se danas svi razlikujemo i po čemu ćemo se još više razlikovati. Često (ili nikada) nismo sasvim spremni da prihvatimo da je tako. Zvuči logično, ali je mnogima od nas iz nekog unutrašnjeg raloga neprihvatljivo. Zašto? Možda zbog naše bojazni da priznamo sebi koliko malo znamo danas i koliko ćemo još manje znati u budućnosti, jer se sveukupno ljudsko znanje neprekidno širi.

Po podacima UNESCO-a u narednih 30 godina više će ljudi diplomirati nego što ih je diplomiralo u dosadašnjoj istoriji. Kada dodje do takve pojave diploma na tržištu lako je zaključiti da će doći do devalvacije vrednosti diploma. One jednom rečju, više neće vredeti kao nekada.

Takav razvoj dogadjaja u obrazovanju je rezultat ogromnih promena u demografiji, želje gradjana novih naprednih nacijana za uspehom, napredovanju novih ekonomskih giganata, primeni savremene tehnologije koja menja načine na koji radimo i obrazujemo se i još mnogo toga.

Danas ovo što sam izrekao da diplome nećevredeti u budućnosti izgleda kao jeres, ali zar tako često ne izgleda budućnost iz perspektive prošlosti u glavana ljudi iz sadašnjosti. To nije nikada zaustavilo promene i budućnost se neizbežno desila.

Pre samo tridesetak godina ste sa srednjom školom mogli mnogo toga raditi, a procenat visokoobrazovanih ljudi je bio jednocifren. Broj funkcionalno nepismenih je bio značajan.

Danas se može lako desiti da sa diplomom ne možete naći posao. Za samo nekoliko godina diploma neće biti nikakva garancija za posao.

Danas vam je za konkurentnost na tržištu rada često potreban master ili doktorat. Na primer, najveće IT kompanije poput Googlea na mestima programera zapošljavaju doktore nauka. Konkurencija je ogromna.

Sve ovo pokazuje da u obrazovanju imamo inflaciju, da vrednost diploma po vertikali pada. Da se sve, kao i obično, nezadrživo menja, a da toga gotovo da nismo ni svesni.

Jedno jutro ćemo se probuditi u novom vremenu i shvatiti da više ništa nije isto. Da li ćemo to budjenje dočekati spremni?
