Odliv mozgova

Srbija je na drugom mestu u svetu po broju odlazaka mladih, odnosno „odlivu mozgova“, upozorava Američka agencija za međunarodni razvoj (USAID). Te podatke iznela je zamenica direktora USAID-a u Srbiji Merilin Šmit, pozivajući se na podatke Svetskog izveštaja o poslovanju. Šmitova je tokom posete Vranju, gde je potpisan sporazum o saradnji USAID-a i opštinske Kancelarije za mlade, rekla da je po „odlivu mozgova“ od Srbije gora samo afrička država Gvineja Bisao.
„Podaci o nezaposlenosti mladih u Srbiji su alarmantni, jer od pet osoba starosti između 18 i 25 godina, dvoje njih nema posao“, upozorila je ona i navela da je situacija u tom pogledu posebno loša na jugu Srbije.
Posebno je alarmantno to što zemlja u Evropi, koja želi da postane članica Evropske unije ima takav „odliv mozgova“, rekla je Šmit govoreći o Srbiji. (B92 Vesti PONEDELJAK 21.03.2011)

Mi imamo izuzetno negativan trend koji se pogrdno naziva “odliv mozgova”. Radi se o nečemu što je bilo poznato još u tursko doba, Andrić je to opisao i mnogi drugi, kada dete uzimaju od majke i šalju ga u Stambol da postane vojnik ili državni službenik. Dobro, neki su dogurali i do vezira, pa su gradili mostove u starom kraju i nije tako loše u konačnom bilansu ispalo, ali većina je ipak  raskinula sve veze sa zavičajem. Majka je imala da ga rodi, ostalo je turska država učinila. Hoću da kažem, najbolji će uvek u Stambol, makar na onom bosanskom malom konju da odu, svejedno kako, njih vuče gravitaciona sila centra učenosti i posla u vremenu u kom žive, danas udaljenost mesta ne znači ništa, juče Rim, Stambol ili Beč, danas šklola u Prinstonu, posao u Fejsbuku…

Dakle, nema te masovno rastuće industrije koja bi “pokupila” inženjere što silaze sa traka naših fakulteta. Mi smo proglasili postindustrijsko društvo tako što smo uništili industriju, a ne tako što smo joj našli zamenu, mi smo teškom mukom stvorenog industrijskog radnika, pa i inženjera, te čuvare ideje progresa, jer vi za čas demagoškom pričom, televizijom, kladionicama, buvljacima i legalizacijom krađe do neke granice, totalnom korupcijom, obesmislite bilo kakav progres, ubijete ideju borbe za bolje, mi smo te “čuvare vatre” oterali na prinudne odmore, a fabrike pretvorili u tržne centre.

Ne valja to što kolone onih koji odlaze sada čine inženjeri, ona intelektualna radna snaga, masa koja čini suštinu industrijskog društva, oni bez kojih savremena društva degradiraju u neke postmoderne Pompeje, u neka carstva zabave, entropije i slobodnog vremena, u najbolja mesta za provod, a najgora za rad.
